Johny Wong
Johny Wong, of Wong Photographer, Kota Bharu. He was the official school photographer for the school magazine in 1975. I think he was also there for the 1974 Opening Ceremony of the school, but i wasn't there yet, so I can't confirm.
Actually Wong Photographer was THE photographer back then in the 70s, and I bet it still maintains its reputation. Wong was the prefered photographer for the royalties and the elites of Kota Bharu.
It was indeed a pleasant surprise to meet Wong again yesterday during the school function. This time he came with his young daughter.

The box couldn't do, so he stood on the table! Luckily he's a petit chap!
This time, Johny brought his daughter to help out. She's now a TESL student at UPSI, who's having her semester holidays.

kak sabar, agaknya kalau kita tanya mr wong ni kan, sure dia ada simpan kot koleksi gambar gambar lama sekolah. Esp masa perasmian sekolah dulu dulu :)

Dah tanya dah..
Dia kata dia tak pernah buang apa2 lagi semenjak dia jadi photographer. Lepas tu i tanya dia, "tak berkulat ke", dia diam.. tak jawab - lepas tu dia kata dia tak sure.. lepas tu dia kata, yg dah guna digital camera, CD dia ada simpan..
buleh la mintak ngan dia contribute kat SEMESTA hehehhe. Banyak tu gambar antik, sure best tengok gambar-gambar lama :)
